Tianna Boswell
Founder, Executive Director
Tianna Boswell is a community leader, youth advocate, social worker, and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience empowering young people, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for underserved communities across the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2016, Tianna founded I Am My Sister's Keeper, a mentorship and leadership program dedicated to supporting young women from marginalized communities as they navigate barriers to higher education, career exploration, and personal growth. Sponsored by Art Reach, the program was created from Tianna's belief that every young woman deserves access to mentors who reflect her lived experiences, celebrate her identity, and inspire her to pursue her full potential.
Tianna holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Social Service Worker Diploma from George Brown College. Throughout her career, she has worked with youth and families in schools, community agencies, and outreach programs, supporting young people facing complex social, economic, and systemic challenges.
As an advocate for arts-based community development, Tianna believes creativity is a powerful tool for healing, self-expression, and social change. Driven by compassion, equity, and service, her mission is to ensure that every young woman has the support, opportunity, and confidence to dream boldly, lead courageously, and shape a future without limits.
"When young women are seen, heard, and empowered to tell their own stories, they don't just change their own lives—they transform their families, communities, and future generations."
